During our lessons Friday 23rd March to Thursday 29th March our children will be taking part in a sponsored swim. Our swimmers will swim across the River Mersey (but in the pool) from the Albert Dock to Woodside Ferry Terminal in Birkenhead which is a 1100m swim. They will complete the swim either in groups or individually depending on the swimmers and their ability.
In doing this we are raising money towards the Spider-Ede Appeal to help fund Edie’s treatment in Mexico for DIPG, a rare brain tumour that is inoperable and untreatable in the UK.
