No two swimmers are the same. We have a range of classes and options to suit everyone. From structured weekly classes to one-to-one lessons which can be tailored to a time and pace to suit your requirements.

CHILD LESSONS

Small groups are taught in a range of classes to suit all abilities, from beginners through to improvers and beyond.

BABY LESSONS

Guided sessions with parent and baby in the water develop trust and introduce your baby to water skills that can be built on.

ADULT LESSONS

One-to-one lessons allow flexible teaching for any ability. From complete beginners to those wanting to develop technique.

Lesson Structure

Throughout all our child group lessons the instructor teaches from poolside. There are a number of reasons for this.

  • It is the preferable teaching position recommended by the Swimming Teachers Association.
  • It allows the instructor to maintain full visual cover of all swimmers to ensure their safety at all times.
  • It allows the instructor to be in a better position to analyse the swimmer’s technique.
  • Children learn to be independent from the start and not rely on the instructor. We instil water safety and children are taught to swim back to the side when required.

For Baby, Adult and one-to-one lessons, the instructor will be in the pool.
